The Powerscourt Gallery would like to officially  invite you to the second series of Pop-Up events at Powerscourtgallery.ie for 2013. The opening reception will take place on Thursday 2nd May from 6.30pm (enter via South William St. entrance) and the exhibition will run from 2nd May – 11th May in the Courtyard Gallery, Powerscourt Townhouse Centre.  ’FLOW’ is a collection of photography inspired by John Everett Millais Pre-Raphaelite painting titled ‘Ophelia’ (1852).

Alone Exhibition

ALONE is an independent charity who work on the behalf of older people who are the most vulnerable and isolated in Dublin.For the Bealtaine Festival, ALONE are holding a photography exhibition called “Being” from 13th – 19th May in the Powerscourt Townhouse Centre to promote positive ageing in older people. The exhibition will host a series of portraits of ALONE service users taken by award-winning photographer Jason Clarke.Some of the images portray mischief, friendship or contentment while others show isolation or loneliness.
