Filled with a historic charm and stunning architecture, The Powerscourt Centre is located on the ever-bustling South William Street, just a stone’s throw away from Grafton Street, in Dublin’s City Centre. Filled with a wealth of history dating as far back as the 1700’s, today is home to several Irish designers.

MoMuse, located on the ground floor of the Centre, is owned by Irish designer Margaret O’ Rourke. In the heart of Dublin’s Creative Quarter, a haven for Irish designed jewellery. The entire collection from MoMuse is Irish designed, with many of the pieces hand finished in store. As well as their own collections of jewellery, MoMuse is home to several homegrown Irish designers. Stocking Irish jewellery Designer Merle O’Grady, as well as Eilis Boyle’s exquisite range of cashmere and stationery brands; ‘Simple Things Cards’ and ‘Leaf & Stitch’s’ hand embroidered gift cards. Mucros Journals and Alpaca & Silk Scarves from Killarney.

Irish jewellery brand Chupi, which is now recognised worldwide takes residence in Atrium. Chupi Sweetman, born and raised in Wicklow, was scouted by Topshop from her first year in college at the tender age of 21 and was the youngest designer to ever work for the company. After a six-year career in fast-fashion, Chupi wanted to create something that lasted forever and celebrated Ireland’s incredible design heritage, and so in April 2013, Chupi, the brand was born. Irresistibly drawn to wild and natural things, Chupi’s designs are inspired by the imperfect natural beauty of feathers, twigs and leaves complemented by the sparkliest diamonds and gemstones. All their precious jewellery is handmade with love in Ireland with ethical gold and conflict free diamonds.

Atrium, located on the top floor of the Centre, overseeing the entire house, is Ireland’s leading fashion concept store. Atrium Dublin is home to Chupi, as well as numerous carefully considered collections from award-winning Irish and international designers. From concept to closet, every product sold by Atrium discloses its origins openly to lead the way in sustainable lifestyle design. Exclusive collaborations and a personalised service ensure style inspiration so go catch your breath and enjoy a beautiful store experience that is recognised the world over.

Also located in the Powerscourt Centre, is Irish designer Mary Grant who established her eponymous brand in 1993. The label rapidly grew a following for designs known for their versatility, flattering silhouettes and perfected cuts. Their mission is to create designs that make women feel confident and comfortable. Mary’s drive and passion are the predominant reason behind her 25 years of success. Unlike other brands, the Mary Grant label tends to stray away from the latest trends and instead evolves their ‘Basics’, ‘Layering’ and ‘Timeless’ collections.

The Powerscourt Centre is home to many Irish brands ready for you to discover. So why not spend the week in the lead up to St. Patricks Day celebrating all things Irish by visiting and discovering all that the Townhouse has to offer.

Throughout the Bank Holiday weekend, the Centre will be holding a series of fun filled activities and events for all the family to enjoy. Kicking off the weekend, this Saturday at 3:00pm is Dublin based choir the ‘Mellow Tonics’. On St. Patrick’s Day itself, entertainment will begin at 1:30pm with ‘Binneas Traditional Irish Music’ who will be joined by an Irish Dance troupe from 2:00pm.
